First off, you got this “Swing Canton” thing, which sounds, like, *totally* cool. They’re doing weekly or monthly swing dance events and classes, which is awesome. I mean, Lindy Hop, Solo Jazz, Balboa? That’s a whole lotta shakin’ goin’ on! And it’s in Guangzhou, which, let’s be real, isn’t exactly the first place you think of when you think of swing dancing. But that’s what makes it, like, extra rad, right?
Then there’s this Lindy Yiacoustic on Facebook. I’m guessing, maybe, she’s involved with the dance scene? Or just really likes Lindy Hop? IDK. Facebook’s kinda vague sometimes. Could be anything, really.
And oh yeah, Lindy Xu! CEO of a Jeans Factory! What? I’m kinda lost here. Is this related to the dance scene? Maybe she sponsors the events or something? Or maybe she just happens to have the same first name? The world is full of coincidences, am I right? I mean, sometimes people ask me to write about things and I think, like, “Why *me*?”
Okay, so then you got Lindy Liang on LinkedIn. She’s got like, *two* positions! Dang! See, this is why I should get on LinkedIn more… maybe I could, like, learn to network or something…or just find a better job, lol. Anyways, she’s probably a totally different Lindy altogether. This is getting confusing.
And then there’s Canton Today… showing Lindy Liang’s profile. What’s the deal with that? Is it just trying to, like, connect people in Guangzhou? It’s all kinda jumbled up.
And then there’s salsa in Guangzhou… hold up. Salsa? Where did that come from? I thought we were talking about Lindy Hop! Is there some kind of crossover thing happening? Are they, like, doing a salsa-swing fusion dance? That actually sounds kinda interesting. A dream dance floor, passionate instructors, and Lindy Hoppers gathering together… it sounds like they are all about dance.
